7 Reasons Why You Can’t Access Your Intuitive Intelligence

In my awakening in 2013 and up until now, I’ve been in search of my intuition. I’ve taken classes and invested a lot in myself. You can invest as much as you want trying to find it. But you’ll be just spending money, money and more money. And you’ll never find it because it’s within yourself.

Intuition is the ability to understand something immediately, without the need for conscious reasoning.

In this blog, I am going to share with you 7 reasons why you can't access your intuitive intelligence. Plus my top tips from my own experience on what you can do access it.

The reason I say this is because I took a course that was $1500 last year. It was for me to open up my intuitiveness. Well I don’t feel that it worked completely. Not until I started to delve into myself more during theta wave sessions with my clients.

Noticing I help people open up their chakras, cleanse them and we start opening ourselves up to our own inner voice.

It’s already inside us.

What has worked for me - nothing crazy, no searching for it and just happens as you do the work for yourself.

No book to read. When you’re ready to harness this gift - you’ll get the gut feeling.

When you quiet your mind and go into a place of solitude. A place of stillness. All sorts of things start happening. You can start to notice a voice speaking. This voice is different from that of your monkey mind. Your logical mind. It’s different.

The one that is guiding me is my higher self. That is who I am connecting with. It’s a source outside of me but within me. My higher self is my intuition and it is a person.

Everyone has a higher self. Your soul. The person looking after you from above down here. Our whole journey is to become one with our higher self. Then you will start living a different life. Operating. Seeing. Talking. Acting in such a different form.

Why can’t some people hear their higher self?

1. We have spiritual impurities meaning we are layered with beliefs, fears, things from the outside like your logical mind, family, world media and views about the world, being realistic. These can lead you away from your intuition / hearing your higher self. When you do the inner work and install new information - you become a clear vessel. A clean slate. You become a vehicle for your intuitive voice.

2. Not understanding that there is something deeper than our own knowledge. When you are connected to your Higher Self, information is coming from Source. You become one. You need to acknowledge that information is coming from outside of yourself, your Higher Self. When you don’t listen to your intuition hits - what you are showing is that you are not committed. You are not taking your intuition seriously. This can stop your intuition from telling you or leaving you alone.

3. Comparing yourself to others about how to access your intuition. I was told that meditation is the best way (being still, listening to music, incense, didn’t work for me at the beginning). I’d go to classes, people would share their stories and I wouldn’t get anything. It was so frustrating. What I can tell you that helped me through this was something called active meditation. I would take a walk for 30 minutes and ask a question. Someone (my higher self) would start talking to me. Now I can do the other kind of meditation too.

4. Your body is stuck with memories that are blocking you. Your body remembers every trauma, fears or unmet needs like being accepted. Even from the womb and past lives! You might think that you have forgot. Or that you are over it. Or I forgave that person. But your body didn’t let go or release.

5. Your environment is toxic. Where you work, your situations involving relationships, anything toxic, maybe marriage, your family, co-workers. Anything that is toxic brings drama. Drama drowns your voice. Clearing and cleansing yourself is a must.

6. Your body is tense. Free your body from tension. Go get a massage. Go do yoga. When you move your body you create new energy. New space. You can become one with the Earth and your emotional body. I do zumba a lot. More exercising helps you get into your flow. Inspiration can come from exercising. Maybe you do weight lifting or biking and letting yourself go - find whatever works for you. What would your body enjoy?

7. You don't know how to access your higher self. I recommend starting with some tools. I’m a big fan of oracle cards. You can practice with tools like I use Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards. Start by pulling some cards. One a day. Once a week - whatever your schedule is - do that so you have a tool to help you connect with your Higher Self.

My teacher didn’t tell me this. The reason I share this is because I felt in the dark. I had no idea what I was doing but my soul did. That’s why I continued and pursued it. My soul wanted to change. It wanted to purge. Not knowing that by the time I had purged everything I was going to be a power house healer. Now I feel inclined to help other lightworkers to become that.
